After getting Eva inside quietly through the side door, making sure she wasn’t too overwhelmed by the atmosphere, I told her to get a drink and to wait for me or Angelo.
I first headed to the kitchen to check in with the staff, ensuring everything was in order, and then went to briefly greet and make sure the special guests who were scheduled to speak later were taken care of.
