Kyoko rushed out the back door to the place she’d last saw Toya. Looking out in the distance, everything was so serene… as if nothing had happened at all. “Toya?” She called out but her voice sounded like that of a frightened child as something caught her attention to her left.
Feeling fear take hold of every cell in her body, Kyoko ever so slowly turned her gaze toward the pool.
