Chapter 17When Angela kissed Liz goodbye and left for home the next day, she was overcome with fatigue. Driving home, her only persistent thought was I am so very tired. The feeling grew over the next several days, then weeks. Angela began to think she might be ill, so she saw her primary care physician, who found nothing physically wrong with her. She told her therapist the only feeling she could identify was empty, that each day felt like a rerun of the previous day, going through the motions of work-home-dinner-bed. She kept declining invitations from friends to go out, and she had begun cutting her phone conversations with Liz short. This depression went on for about a month.
