Sunlight streamed through the open windows, gently interrupting the peaceful slumber I had enjoyed all night.
As I slowly opened my eyes, I took in my surroundings and suddenly realized, Wow... is it already Monday?
Oh no, Monday means school, right?
Yay, life.
I quickly jumped out of bed and rushed to the bathroom, took a lightning-fast shower, brushed my teeth, and hurried downstairs for breakfast.
Surprised to find no one else awake, I opened the cupboard and grabbed the cereal box along with milk from the fridge. As I munched on a spoonful of Cheerios, I glanced at the clock on the wall and winced. 11:45 am. Life is at its peak.
