Just as I was about to walk away, something held me back, and I found myself wrapping my arms around Akila's neck in a warm embrace. I could feel him stiffen in surprise, but he quickly melted into the hug, returning it with a surprising tenderness. It’s these moments that draw me to Akila the most. He can be arrogant, abrasive, and a complete jerk, yet there are times when he reveals a sweet and wonderful side. "I really should be going now," I said.
