My legs were suddenly numb. Tripping over the scattered wires, my breath was an unstable gasp.
The reality, the heaviness of it made my head spin.
“Antler is the leader’s in-command. And in Dorian’s absence. The current leader is Zayne. The murderer of my bride, Amie.”
My head was throbbing, my body was cold to even think that Zayne has any connection with the people I abandoned. I left for a reason, a good one.
If he was also stained with the same violence and corrupted blood, my life would fall apart. I would fall lower in my own eyes.
