27 David After breakfast, Sarah completed her morning chores as I sat on the sofa, cushion on my lap. The cooling-off period had elapsed, but Sarah had not raised the issue of the mode change since my first request. Perhaps she hoped I would forget. Pushing my cushion aside, I slowly made my way over to the dining table, pulled out my favorite chair, and sat down carefully. The goblins knew what was coming. I concentrated my weight on one side of my butt, squashing the sons-of-bitches there, and gradually shifted my weight in a circular motion. I went around again, this time in the opposite direction. No one escaped. With an enhanced feeling of control, I called Sarah and asked her to change modes. She pleaded and warned, like yesterday, but I confirmed my acceptance of the risk waiver
