Kay "Hey," I whisper, gently prodding Theo's arm to wake him up. It's already 7:30 a.m. and the boy is still sleeping. Can you believe that? "Theo," I call louder, peeling the blanket from his body, but he groans, trying hard not to open his eyes. "What?" he murmurs, facing the other side from me. Such people are better woken up with a bucket of cold water. "You'll make me late, Theo, or I'll just go with someone else," I say, giving up, and he quickly gets out of bed. Was he pretending? "Wait, where are we going?" he asks, staring at me with wide, sleepless eyes. I can't believe he was pretending. "You have 30 minutes to get ready," I mumble and leave for Carl's room.
