"You want me gone...?" I whispered.
He gave the answer and assurance to my family that they were longing to hear for days, but... What about me?
He didn't ask me once. He didn't ask what I wanted. He didn't ask how I wanted to do this...
He just... Declared.
I thought he said he didn't want me to leave his side ever.
"Hey, I want you to relax before I come back to take you with me..." He slowly tucked a loose hair strand behind my ear and kissed my head. "I'll settle things first here, and then, I'm coming to take my mate and baby."
"But what about what I want...?" I gazed at him. "You didn't ask me once."
"I know what's best for you..." He whispered.
