She wasn't physically hurt but something inside of her was making her heart cry out.
I could feel her distress and the need to let out her agony in my bones. But I couldn't comprehend why it was this way.
While her heart felt like crying, my heart felt empty. The same way it was before meeting her.
And that stressed me more than anything. It only meant one thing... No...
She was fine... She should be fine. Nothing can happen to her here.
I reached my place in a few minutes and went straight to the room with a sigh coming from my mouth.
Nobody else's scent lingered on my way back so it was her fighting her inner demons instead of my demonic people.
