The Strangest Girl

216 Words
Chandler's pov: There's no way. A girl that just moments ago didn't even know what a ball was is at fault for my little brother's death. I can't understand it's so hard to believe. Father said Henry was killed by a bunch of savage werewolves. And she doesn't look like one. I reach out to touch her face. I just have to see if it's real. My hand softly lands on her cheek. She's as cold as ice. Just moments after I touch her, her hair fades from a beautiful brown to a gorgeous white. Her eyes as well. Tears start to flow from her eyes and down her face to the bottom of her chin. "I'm so sorry." She says softly. "No, no. It's okay. Don't say sorry." I whispered loud enough for her to hear. The death of my brother never hit me. It all came as a shock to me. This is just another shock. I don't know what else to say. "If it's okay then why are you crying?" She says looking deep into my eyes. Crying? I am. I took her hand in mine and we just looked at each other. "You can't go to the castle right now... Not yet. until then I have a place for you to stay."
