Chandler's pov: I led Sora to a nearby cabin where my mom used to take me to, "Be a normal child." Father made all of our lives hard because we're royals and have to paint a good picture. My mother tried to do her best for me and my other brothers. She wanted to do the same for Henry but never got the chance to. I leave home very often and my father doesn't seem to ever notice and I don't mind it. "It's beautiful here, how did you find this place... Do you live here?" Sora touches everything in the view of her eyes in awe. "I guess I kinda live here, It belonged to my mom." "She was a great decorator, huh?" "Yeah.." "Hey, what's this?" Sora points to a glowing gem in the corner of the room beside the sofa. I slowly walked over to it as my heart raced rapidly. So much ran through my mind. Was someone here? Does father know about this? Is my hiding over? I reached down and grabbed it. it looks so familiar. That's it, mom use to wear this all the time. Since when did it glow? Why is it here? "I know what that is!" Sora lights up before snatching it out of my hand. "My Papa talks about this all the time! I thought it was all made up!" "Well, what is it?" "It's full of magic, it can give anyone the power of werewolves, even something as little as a bug." "Really?.." "Yes! Its magic is from the very first werewolf, Lady Maribel. She passed it down to her children and they passed it down to theirs. That continued until it was stolen. Only leaders of the wolves are supposed to hold that kind of magic. Yeah, any other race could hold and use the power. But it will kill them." "Are you trying to say my mom stole your necklace?" "I mean, this is her cabin right?" "You're joking! She wouldn't leave me behind for power, what would she even use it for!?" "I don't know." "Someone else must've been here." "You're in denial, Chandler." "No, I'm not! You're saying my mom is a thief, some kind of monster!" "And you're saying your mom doesn't keep secrets from you? Chandler, all mothers keep secrets. To protect their kids. This is your mom's secret." Sora places the necklace around her neck and tucks it under her coat. "I think you're the real monster." "What?" "You hear me, you're a dog. I don't know what I was thinking leading you here. I thought you were beautiful and soft, that's probably how you trap people." "I only made you comfortable, Chandler. You don't get that feeling from most people." "You don't know anything about me!" "But I know enough, you love your mother. You miss her and don't want anything bad on her name. I understand, I lost my mother too." "I-" "No, it's okay, I'll leave. When you calm down you can find me at the castle... I'm going to see the King." Sora...
