I scooted back as he dragged his filthy body towards mine with a grin. "Don't come any closer", I aimed to scream but it came out as a whisper instead. I hate how pathetic I sound but there is nothing I can do, my confidence, bravery, ego all but flew out of the window the second his ugly face once again came in my line of sight, completely destroying the safe heaven I wrapped myself into.
