The next morning, she was woken up early. She was instructed to have a quick, cold shower. Then change into her uniform and start preparing breakfast. Monica was able to help cook the food. She didn't know how to cook all of it by herself. She had only been taught how to cook by her father and he wasn't a picky eater. She knew she needed to practice cooking the meals because there was so many to make in a short time. Monica then went to set up the breakfast in the dinning hall. She was trying to focus on her task when she saw the Alpha's sister looking around for someone. Monica tried to spy on her but Alyssa noticed her. Monica quickly looked down and tried to look busy.

"You there, omega girl, I haven't seen you before. Why are you looking around when you should be working" Alyssa shouted at her.

Monica shook her head like she didn't how to speak.

"Answer me, omega girl" Alyssa ordered.

"I don't know. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to" Monica spoke softly.

Alyssa glared at her, she felt like that there was something about Monica she had to know. Monica kept her eyes down; she didn't want her to know who she was. Alyssa finally gave up trying to figure out who Monica was and why she was new.

"Make sure you don't do it again" Alyssa demanded and went to sit down for breakfast.

Monica went back to the kitchen and waited until everyone finished. She was about to go out when she saw the Alpha bring in another person to eat. She saw it was Reggie and he wasn't happy to be there. She felt a pain in her chest and Reggie felt it. He looked up from the table and tried to find Monica but she darted back into the kitchen. She tried to calm herself as she knew that he would have seen her. They would be caught looking at each other, it wouldn't be long before the Alpha's sister would know who she was. Monica went out to get the dishes after she thought he had left.

"Monica," she heard him whisper as she was about to go into the kitchen.

She turned around and saw him staring at her sadly. He reached into his pocket and pulled out his new phone.

"I don't have much time before they find me here. I am going to give you my new number. I also need to give you this" Reggie said and gave her a charger.

Monica realised that her phone had run out of battery that's why she hadn't gotten any messages from Reggie. He gave her a note with his number on it.

"I will message you after your phone charges. Please message me anytime you need to. I have missed you so much. I have to go" Reggie said and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek.

"I miss you too" she whispered back. He heard it but had to keep walking away.

Monica then hurried back to the kitchen to finish her tasks of washing dishes and putting them away. She then tried to find somewhere she could charge her phone where no one would find it. She discovered there was an electric plug in the laundry room. She was able to charge her phone while doing the laundry. She never knew how many clothes werewolves would need. There were always getting them wet, dirty, blood stained and even worn out. She felt like some of these clothes could be saved but she doubted that anyone would want them. There was an allowance for the pack to buy new clothes, the omegas got them 2nd hand. Monica didn't mind getting the discarded clothes. She just needed to get some sewing supplies. She asked one of the omegas if there were any needles or threads she could use. The omega looked at her like she was crazy. Werewolves didn't see clothes.

"You might find some sewing supplies in the storeroom but no one has tried to sew clothes. We just throw them away" the omega woman told her.

"I want to try. If I fail then it won't matter, I can throw the clothes away" Monica told the woman.

"Well, you can try but I've never known anyone to sew. Our wolf's don't have the skill or patient. Just don't take up anytime while your working" the woman told her.

"I won't" Monica told her. She was secretly happy that they didn't realise that she was human and could sew.

Monica's phone had finished recharging and all the housework was done for the morning. Monica read the messages Reggie sent her while she waited for the lunch shift.

Hello Monica. This is Reggie I have a new phone number. It's been lonely here without you. The Alpha and his sister have been trying to get me to spend time with them. I don't want to but I feel like I won't have a choice. Please reply back when you get this message.

He sent another message: Monica, please send me a message to let me know that you have gotten mine. I haven't been able to sleep without knowing you are alright. I will have to see you, soon.

Another message read: Monica I woke up late today because my phone didn't have my alarm on it. Then I realised that I haven't given you a charger for the phone. I forgot to give you one but I will try to sneak it to you, today.

Monica realised that the messages were sent that morning. She typed in a reply: Reggie, my phone has been charged and I have been thinking about you too. The day has been busy and I have a short break before I go back to work. I have missed you, so much. I haven't been able to stay warm. The days and nights seem so cold without you.

Monica sent it and then got a quick reply.

Monica, I want to be with you, to keep you warm. I might have to sneak over there to see you tonight.

Monica replied; Reggie be careful you might get caught. I should be warm enough thinking about when we can be together. I can wait until then.

Monica was going to send it but she was told by an omega that the lunch shift had started. I have to go back to work, now. I will message you again soon, Reggie.

Monica sent the message then went back to work.
