Ok Dev. Calm down. Today is your wedding and you are ready. Go downstairs and get Arundhati as your wife. She deserves all the happiness after her parents..... I will never be the reason of her tears. That's a promise.

Shivanya's POV
Today is the wedding. I am sure nervous but at the same time, happy. I promise myself that I will unite Dev and his parents. He will never be hurt because of me or Ashmit.

Shivanya was ready in her wedding attire with ancestral jewellery and minimal makeup.
While Dev was killing everyone with his looks.
Shivanya came down with a chunri over her head. Her four brothers were holding it from a h side while her Bhabhi and her sister were by her side. Raghavi and Rajeev, with the kids, were walking beside them in a group.
They sat on their decorated mandap
As she came down the stairs, he was stunned seeing her.
Devanshi(to Dev): Stop staring at her. It looks creepy.
Dev: Shut up and let me focus. I am getting married.
While on Shivanya's side-
Shivanya: Bhabhi, will I be a good wife?? Will I be able to keep my family happy??
Riya: Manu, you are the best at everything. Just remember one thing. When I was pregnant with Sukriti and even now, you take care of the house, right?? Then you can do it there also. Take deep breaths and sit there.
She sat with Dev. Soon the priest told them to stand up for the Varmala ritual.
As soon as she leaned forward to put Varmala on his neck, he was pulled back by Ashmit and Devanshi.
Devanshi: come on Bhabhi. A little bit more.
She came forward and tried again, but they pulled him again. She pouted at Devanshi.
Dev: Stop irritating her guys.
At that he leaned his head as she put the Varmala round his neck. Everyone clapped and hooted at them as Dev too did the same.
The priest told them to take pheras around the fire
In the first four pheras, he was ahead. The they three were in her lead.
The priest told him to put mangalsutra around her neck.
He filled her maang with sindoor and they were declared as husband and wife.
Everyone cheered at this. Later they were on the stage as everyone came to congratulate them.
Soon the mike was in the hands of the brides family. The eldest member of the family was the first one to speak that was her Nanu.
Shivanya's Nanu: My Manu is like a flower. Delicate and soft. But also beautiful. Take care of her.
Next was her Nani.
Nani: My granddaughter is my most priced possession. I am giving her to you. Never make her cry.
Dev smiled at both of them warmly, silently giving them the promise.
Riya: She is our Princess, make her your Queen.
Shivanya couldn't stop her tears and let them flow freely.
Shivam: Be with her in all times. Always.
Surbhi: Mami always said, my Manu is the strongest, and she was right. But now she has you so you better help her fight her problems.
Rajeev: One look at her face and I know she trusts you. Never break her trust.
Shivaansh: She is my life. Never hurt her.
Raghavi: She is my inspiration. Never force her to change.
Surav and Sukriti: We want to meet her every week. No excuses allowed.
Everyone chuckled at this and at last Dev took the mic.
Dev: She will always be my queen and I will treat her like one.
It was soon time for the Vidaai. She did a good job hiding her tears. Hugged everyone, even Adi and Sidhu, and left with him in the car.
