Dev's POV

I woke up in the morning to feel someone stroking my head. Oh ho!! Ye Divi bhi naa....

(Oh ho! This Divi..)

Me: Divi, aaj Sunday hai. Sone de na. Main kal raat ko late tak kaam kar raha tha. (Divi, let me sleep pls. It is Sunday today. I was working till late night yesterday)

Mumma: Dev beta, it's me.

I got shocked to see that lady in my room. What is she doing here??

Me(rather rudely): What are you doing here??

Mumma: Dev, please listen to me beta.

Me: What shall I listen to Mumma?? After what you people did, you still have the guts to say that??

Mumma: Dev, we wanted you to be happy.....

Me: Ya right. You chose that girl instead of your own son. You did not even ask me about it.

Mumma: Dev, let's not talk about it please.

Me: Then I think we have nothing to talk about. Please go from here....

Mumma: Dev. Ok fine. I will go. But can you please have breakfast with us. Papa and I want to talk to you. It is important. Please baby.

Me: Ok fine. I will.

At that she smiled and went away.

PoV ends

Dev gets ready and goes downstairs. 

Mr. Nitesh Shukla: Good Morning son.

Dev: Stop beating around the bush and tell me why was I called and why is Divi not here??

Mrs. Vineeta: Dev, that's not the way you talk to your father and her name is DEVANSHI.

Dev(shouting): Divi, Divi.....

Divija came running down the stairs listening to her bhai's booming voice.

Devanshi(scared): Ye... Yes... bh... bhai.... What ha.. happened??

Dev went to her and cupped her face.

Dev: Don't get scared cupcake. Do you have a problem with me calling you Divi??

Divi(relieved but confused): No bhai. In fact I love it when you call me that.... Why??

Dev: There you go. If today's share of argument over or do you want more?? I am in a hurry. I have to go.

He had turned to go when his mom stopped him

Mrs. Vineeta: Stop Dev. I am sorry beta. I did not mean it. We have something important to tell you. Please sit here.

Dev(with a warning gaze): This is the last time I am giving you people. I am done with this.

Mr. Nitesh: Ok then. Let's get this over with. Since your mother and I know that after that girl ditched you——

Dev:SHE WAS NOT JUST A GIRL. I LOVED HER PAPA. SHE DID WHAT SHE DID. I HATE HER NOW DOES NOT MEAN YOU CAN REFER MY PAST IN OUR CONVERSATION. Please leave her out of it and say what you wanted to.

Mr. Nitesh(avoiding his outburst): So I was saying, that we have found a girl for you and we have to go meet her tomorrow 1:00 pm. Clear your schedule.

Dev(with that devilish smirk on his face):Say that nicely with a please and consider it done.

Mr. Nitesh: Please MY DEAR SON, come with me to your future wife.

Dev: She is not my future wife yet. (A/N- Awww. He said that yet. I knew he loves her too)

Shivanya's residence 

Same time

Around 11:00 am

'You did what!!!!!!!!!' Shivanya shouted.

Shivam came back early in the morning that day and the elders, that is, Shivam-Riya and Surbhi- Rajeev sat together to tell her something and that's when she got to know this shocking news. Her lovely Di and Bhabhi had decided like responsible 'mothers' that it was important to get their 'first baby' married and had therefore created her profile on a marriage bureau website. That was where they had met Dev's family and liked his profile. They sent a request. Dev's dad liked Shivanya too and accepted the request. They mutually decided to meet. That was the reason of Shivam's sudden visit, though it was a surprise for the rest that he was coming.

Coming back to the present-

'What did you think?? You could have asked me about it Di and Bhabhi. Jiju, Bhaiya, couldn't you stop them.....' she was shouting like crazy.

Shivam: Manu, calm down. He is a good boy. We saw his profile.

Shivanya (panicking): Does not mean I can meet him. I have never ever done this. Bhaiya.....

She whines and goes to hug him. He hugs her tight back and says only one thing ' You NEVER CHOSE THIS LIFE, this is one thing you can. You like him, you do it. You don't, he never sees you again.'

'I am ready bhaiya'

He kissed her forehead and they all group hugged.
