*Author's POV*
Alpha Nathan was staring at her breasts as well. All through her "torture class," he had imagined her in a formal suit, stilettos, her skirt a bit shorter than it would be allowed for a teacher, and her shirt unbuttoned enough to show her nice cleavage. He licked his lips at the thought of her with a big ruler, a sudden dryness in his mouth, a rush of warmth through him.
-'A ruler I would use to bend her on a desk and puni—'
*snap, snap*
Andrea was snapping her fingers at Nathan's face, his eyes glued on her breasts, blurring everything else out. She was slightly embarrassed and blushing, trying to seem unbothered by that hot face eye-f**king her in front of his pack members and her dad. A prickle on her skin under their gazes. Her snapped fingers made sharp, deliberate clicks, cutting through the heavy atmosphere.
-"Yeah?" He shook his head, cleared his throat, and said,-"We can kill him later if you have to go."
-"I told him at the cliff I'd be the one killing him. I keep my word. Always." She said, looking at him with amused eyes.
-"You want to continue your class with Brianna?" he said, trying to sound neutral. She read right through him though.
-"Nah, she isn't worthy of my wrath, or my skills." She shrugged.
-"Besides, she's your problem, not mine. With this one, I had a word to keep; he tried to ruin my date." She said, smirking. He smiled back.
-"We still need to talk," he said, guiding her upstairs.
The guards were asking all kinds of questions to her dad, and he was laughing at their enthusiasm. Leo was trying to get his hands on her suitcase just to peek, but her dad closed it every time he got to open it.
-"You have to know, it's not what you think," he tried to explain Brianna's actions. His voice faltered slightly, a nervous swallow preceding his words.
-"Oh?" She raised a brow. -"So she's not your ex-girlfriend trying to scare off every other woman who comes your way so she can be the only one who stuck around to rule your pack with? So she bullies others into submission?" She asked without blinking, and his eyes had widened the longer she spoke.
-"Well... it is exactly that, but I mean... I've never seen her that way, I mean my wolf has always—" he tried to explain anxiously, but she started to laugh out loud.
-"Don't worry about it, Alpha, I understand. Werewolves are territorial. I would worry about the other women. Besides, she didn't get to hurt me. I bet I scared you guys more than they scared me," she ended up muttering to herself.
-"Yeah, you gave quite a show," he chuckled.
-"Why do you act like that? It's like a whole other personality," he asked curiously.
She looked into his eyes, searching for any sign of rejection or disgust or even fear, but she only saw fascination.
-"Fear cuts deeper than swords." She said in a deep voice, shrugging again, -"I find "Patricia's" giggling, shy, and innocent role kind of scary when she tortures people. Makes me get the information faster. I torture their minds before I torture their bodies." She shrugged.
-"Is that what you did to my guys?" He asked while looking at her eyes. It was getting easier to read her even when she attempted to put on her walls up all the time. The walls she put the moment she spoke to those rogues at the cliff were nothing to him by now.
-"Wait, YOU kidnapped Tom and Ramirez?!" A shocked, melodic voice came from behind them. Andrea turned around to see a tall, beautiful brunette woman. She was fit and slim, with minimal curves. She wore a sports bra and shorts, looking hot. Her face was perfect, flawless.
-"Umm yes, I did." She turned to Nathan with a muffled smile, pursing her lips.
-"But like I said, I didn't touch them. Well, I did, I carried them to my truck and dragged them to the cells I have in my warehouse, but that's all, cross my heart," she ended up smiling widely with her hand up. He smiled at her and shook his head.
Brianna cleared her throat. She felt deliberately ignored by her Alpha, and also by this tiny human she knew she could crush with her thumb. As if knowing what she was thinking, Andy turned to her again.
-"And who are you?" She asked her, grinning widely, nodding slightly, looking thrilled to know her and offering her hand.
Brianna blinked a few times before taking her hand hesitantly. -"Brianna."
-"Beautiful name, Brianna, just like you! I love it!" she giggled like a fan.
She hooked an arm with her and led her inside, downstairs, Alpha Nathan following behind towards the same room they were before, only Chad wasn't there anymore. Her father, Leo, and the assistant guard waited.
As soon as Brianna walked in, her nose immediately twitched, taking in the stale, metallic scent of the cells, but more acutely, the unmistakable, lingering scent of Chad.
Her body stiffened immediately, a cold knot of dread forming in her stomach as the realization hit: she's been caught. She tried to get a hold on her nerves, a tightening in her gut, her nails digging into her palms, trying not to show her emotions. Then, as she didn't smell blood, a flicker of relief crossed her face, a hollow exhale, thinking she might still have a chance to get away with it.
-"What are we doing here?" she asked calmly.
-"Oh don't worry, I just want to ask a few questions. Sorry to bother you this late. I bet a goddess like you needs her beauty sleep, am I right?" Andy said with admiration. She was nailing the fan girl role.
Brianna immediately relaxed. She loved being complimented, and in front of THE ALPHA? Of course she knew she was a 10.
She laughed in a coquettish way and looked at Andy proudly.
-"Nah, stop it, you're making me blush."
-"I really need your help though, that's why we've called you here. Do you want something to drink? Perhaps a coffee? Tea?" Andy said with worry.
-"Of course, if I can help, I'll do it. A coffee would be okay, with whipped milk and three sugar spoons," she said with a fake smile. 'It was obviously a lie, but in front of the Alpha, she needed to play nice. So far, it didn't seem to be bad news for her, so she would continue to act kindly towards the stupid human who was sitting next to her.'
The assistant guard grunted lowly and left the room as soon as Andrea looked his way.
-"I'm going to show you some photos, please look at them and tell me if you recognize any of them."
-"Okay."
She got her coffee and looked at the pictures. From time to time, Andy would compliment her appearance or her kindness, and that made Brianna's ego burst. She would ask random questions as well, and Brianna would answer them absentmindedly.
-'Damn, she's good. Look how she's working Bri,' Leo said through the mind link.
-'She is getting the information out of her. Look at her eyes, she's studying her. I bet she knows her better than us right now,' Nathan said proudly.
After a few minutes of Brianna not knowing anyone Andy had shown her, they were talking and laughing, giggling like schoolgirls.
Andy looked at her watch, clicked a button to take Brianna's picture, and then she stood up.
-"Well, Bri, it was so nice meeting you, thank you for your help. I hope I can see you fight someday. Maybe we can have a match someday; you could teach me a few things." She said, hugging her.
-"Anytime," Brianna said with a forced smile. You could see her left eye slightly twitching.
-"Wait here," Alpha Nathan said to Leo and the guard while escorting Andrea and her father to the cell next to them.
-"Daddy?" Andrea asked when they were outside. She had snapped Chad's neck, and their job there was over.
-"She didn't lie, she doesn't know anyone we showed her." He said, looking at her. She nodded. Then he turned to Alpha.
-"She is the classic choleric bully. She is a quick-thinker, an effective influencer, competitive, independent, easily annoyed, and prideful. Highly engaged and intentional in anything she does. A natural problem solver. Direct and detail-oriented.
She will work to see a goal to the end. She can be a good friend to you if you are supportive of them. She may be supportive back. However, if one argues with her, expect her to enjoy the challenge and push forward in a dominating manner.
She struggles to accept criticism. She confronts people and tries to dominate those who she received criticism from. She tries to win through loudness and intimidation.
When she loses, she will go fiercer next time. She believes there isn't anyone better than her to be in charge of something she feels confident in. She humiliates those whom she doesn't like because she needs to feel superior and wants to show them who is in charge. She will blame others if possible.
She will use a low-handed tactic or petty move to get revenge on you. She rarely shows fear, even if their body language says otherwise. Like being wrong, the only time they will admit to being fearful is if they can get a reward from it. She may act like she has no fears at all." He reported his assessment, looking at the wide-eyed Alpha in front of him.
-"You got all that by just looking at her interact with Andy?" He said, impressed.
-'Has he been assessing me too?' he wondered
-"Look, she will do it again and again, maybe even escalate. She would be a good Luna, but not even YOU are safe from her ambitions. You do what you have to do," he said, nodding at him. Alpha Nathan pursed his lips and nodded back.
Andy just looked at the two, curious. She knew there were things not being said out loud, but she didn't pry on it. It was not her place anyways.
She shivered a bit and closed her cardigan. It was four in the morning. Her boobs were hurting.
-"We'll head home now. I promise we will schedule a reunion. I have a lot to discuss with you, Alpha Nathan." Andy said sternly.
Her voice dropped in volume, becoming unnervingly flat and devoid of warmth, and Nathan didn't like the coldness in her voice, but he said nothing.
They saluted and turned, and Alpha Nathan knew they'd find their way back alone. He cursed internally and turned to deal with his problem.
