~Keegan~ Maya woke me early this morning, needing to head into town for some reason. Yawning, I sip my morning coffee from where I am sitting on the porch. I watch Maya head out towards the town, borrowing my car. She waves at me from the driver's seat; her smile radiant even in the heat of the day. It's moments like these that make me forget the gravity of her past, and the seriousness of our situation. But then, I spot Clay, in his wolf form, sneaking around her house with his tongue hanging out, sniffing at the ground as if he's discovered a new scent. The absurdity of our lives hits me again.
