Chapter Twenty

It’s already midnight and we are already sitting and leaning on the tree behind us, trying not to fall asleep in this quiet place, to stay alert from what might even happen here. Those creatures were already gone and we waited for them to leave and went far from us before we all decided to get up and sit comfortably under the tree we had used to hide ourselves, being careful not to make huge movements. We must not sleep, even though we are all tired from walking all afternoon, and we haven't had enough and decent sleep these past few days staying on this Island that I never knew was this huge. Because if we do, it is so certain that we couldn't get to wake up ever again as there's just so many uncertainties lying here that we are not even sure of. “Do you think they are still alive?”
