Tommaso’s POV -
I could never fall asleep now I thought, I whispered to her “baby girl?”, but no response.
I gently pulled my hand from under her, she moved a bit I tried again “baby girl? Did you say luv?”, I towered over her, there was no light in the room but she seemed to be sound asleep, her breathing slow and equal and face sunken into the pillow.
I left the bed and brought our phones from the bathroom, and connected both to the chargers I had in my room.
I texted Matteo “Bro, I owe you the world” I sent, if it wasn’t for him today I wouldn’t have her and right now she felt like she’s my world.
Surprisingly I saw he was typing back, I waited for his message to arrive, it popped on screen a moment later “Bro! I’m happy it all worked out, I understand things went well?” With a smi
