Valentina was a beast, she had many connections and they were all useful, she never threatened anyone’s job for nothing, and each time she did - that person lost their job, plain and simple.
The officer looked at Vale with a doubtful face, and she sensed it, she glanced at him “let’s start with you taking off those cuffs, as I make a quick call”, the officer reluctantly removed them, Matteo whispered to me “I’m sure he is somehow connected to Jessica, I’m texting his name to Beppe” I nodded at him discreetly.
Vale’s voice grabbed our attention “hello, chief Pedrotti? Yes, it’s me, thank you for taking my call” she said loud and clear making the officer sweat, he realised he had massed up, and looked around as if waiting for someone to save him.
