It was getting late and with a mutual sigh we said our goodbyes, Flora hugged me tightly before leaving “thank you again for the amazing food, I’m going to dream about these tortelli at night, I can’t believe I’ve never had this before!”, she laughed gently “whenever you want some I’ll make them!”, Matteo jumped into the conversation “don’t forget to invite me when you do”, we all laughed as Tommaso hugged his mom goodbye “always a crowd favourite, like everything you make mom!”, we all finished hugging before they left.
When Tommaso closed the door behind them he turned to me and lifted me up quickly, shrieked in surprise “Tomi! You gave me a heart attack, put me down please”, my voice calmed down from the surprise as I laughed “one kiss and I will”, I squished his face
