The rest of the sail back to Venice was relatively quiet, some people who recognised me from earlier today, had approached me and asked about the flowers and I gladly explained.
Alonzo waited for us when we arrived back, he thanked me and cried and thanked the rest of the gang as well for their kindness.
Davide also came to the shore to say his goodbyes, we promised to stay in touch so I could see them more often.
