I looked at her with a concerned look “Well, I’m happy to hear it, I’m also happy you were with him and he got you home safely, always the gentleman, Tommaso”.
She laughed lowly and nodded softly but didn’t say a thing, her face calm and inquiring.
“It’s not the first time, he’s lucky to have me to come aid when I can, brining over bags and clothes and his car..” I said.
“So this happens often?” She asked, calm as ever, most get kind of anxious at this point.
“Unfortunately, he’s a big man, drinking head to head with him is hard.”
