Chapter 7 - The New Red Moon Pack

Silver Moon Pack

At dinner that night , Alpha Jacob is discussing the upcoming annual gathering of pack members with friends and allies.

This annual event was establish to promote stronger friendship among packs especially pack allies. As usual , all Alphas are invited with their top ranks .

They are still waiting for the reply of Red Moon Pack if they will attend this year as they skip the event for the past 3 years.

Alpha Jacob is giving out assignments to each who will be in charge. Alex will be in charge of the security of the visiting Alphas ang their entourage. Damian will be in charge of the security of the pack especially the family as many visitors will be coming . Bella will be in charge of the food and entertainment while Sam will be in charge of visiting children. Last , Chester will be the point of communication since all will be busy so that the assignments will mesh and go smoothly.

While Alpha Jacob and Luna Jhoan will be busy entertaining the visiting Alpha and their Luna.

It is the wish of Alpha Jacob that Alpha Nicholas of the Red Moon Pack to attend the event , ever since he became alpha , he never attended any of the pack's event .

He was very worried since he and Alpha Arthur were such good friends since children and attended the same primary school. They even jokingly talk about marrying their children to each other .

*** FLASHBACK ***

Senior High

" Arthur , come on , we will be late for school again " Jacob shouted while standing beside the school gate seeing his friend running towards him .

Panting like a were dog " I'm hurrying " almost reaching the gate . Both boys running down the hall reaching their first class , history . Sitting at the back of the class . Arthur said " You don't need to wait for me "

" You know that we are best friends " Jacob continued " you should have sleep earlier , don't party too much "

" You know me , we are young and single " Arthur laughingly said .

" You are such a rascal , that's why your father is always grounding you . You date different she wolf everyday , when will you grow up . It's almost time for you to find your mate " Jacob replied . Jacob had already found his mate Jhoan of Crystal Moon Pack , that's why he is always hoping that Arthur will also find his to settle him . He is also out partying and doing all kinds of mischiefs . Since he is the future Alpha of the Red Moon Pack , his parents are worried for his future. After class , both friends went to the cafeteria for lunch . Upon reaching the cashier , Arthur suddenly stops and smelling the air , walking in circle when he stops beside a black haired woman with emerald eyes eating near the door . The woman also stop eating , staring at Arthur coming closer.

" Hello mate " Arthur said with a wicked grin which the woman replied shyly " Hello ... " staring for some time and not moving at all , Jacob suddenly drop down in front of the lady putting his food tray at the table . Extending his hand ," Hello , I'm Jacob "

Tearing her eyes from Arthur , the lady put her hands for a handshake " I'm Elizabeth Jackson , but you can call me Ellie " smiling with happiness that she had found her mate .

Arthur start growling and glaring daggers at Jacob while Jacob is smirking and joking around at Arthur . " I'm just helping you out , you know , since you're not moving or doing anything " Arthur blushed embarrassed

" I'm Arthur Chastian of the Red Moon Pack " extending his right hand in greeting while smiling timidly.

Seeing his friend acting like a shy boy , Jacob can't stop himself by laughing out loud and joking around as they all know what a playboy Arthur really is .

" I'm Ellie Jackson of Crystal Moon Pack " reaching to shake Arthur's hand.

" D... do you want to go to the movies tonight ? " Arthur stammering asked.

" YES ! " Jacob loudly answered jumping up and down like a lunatic .

" Not you ! " Arthur angrily said while pushing Jacob away from Ellie , which make Ellie relaxed and smiled , laughing happily while both are pushing each other .

" Come on " , Ellie interrupted " all of us can go to the movies " keeping the peace.

" NO ! " Arthur was horrified " I don't want my best friend with us on a date "

while both Jacob and Ellie burst out laughing at Arthur horrified expression.

Continues flow of guest come and go through the pack house where Aloha Jacob and Luna Jhoan are receiving their guest . Everyone was busy especially the guards since they have to be in high alert at all time . It was decided that this year's annual gathering , all guest will be housed at the pack house to simplified the security and convenience as the pack house can accommodate that many guest as the pack house has it's own industrial kitchen , entertainment room , theater room , a big gym , huge conference room , pack offices and plenty of bedrooms on the upper part of the building for visitors . Alpha Jacob and Luna Jhoan have been very busy since early morning greeting their guest until late at night. Since dinner have come and gone with no sign of the Red Moon Pack. Alpha Jacob was lethargic and sad that Alpha Nick didn't attend the gathering once again.

" It's really too bad that the Red Moon Pack didn't attend this year " Alpha Jacob said to Luna Jhoan .

Before Luna Jhoan can replied , the patrol guard at the park border mind link them . Alpha Jacob sir , Alpha Nick of Red Moon Pack is here requesting entrance to our pack territory . Overjoyed , Alpha Jacob smiled broadly and started to instruct the pack patrol .
