Preparations for the mating ceremony were now in full swing because Ethel was on board with the plan. Adriel was even abiding by the rules of no s*x for the next three nights as imposed forcefully upon them by his mother, Melinda. Ethel was enjoying this and she liked to remind him that "the mating was your idea, you should do everything tradition demands."
He was not a fan of this tradition. Ethel had gone through with her plan to sleep in Kai's bedroom, which officially made Adriel a grouchy man. He was snapping at everyone and acting like a little kid whose favourite toy had been snatched away.
