The Alpha

Adriel Wang was very angry. He had plans to seduce his new wife on the morning after their wedding.
He would wake her up with some good sweet oral s*x. A tongue on her c**t would be the perfect way to make her repent for leaving him horny and unsatisfied on their wedding night.
He had to take care of his painful erection using his hands in the bathroom. He had not done that ever since his teenage years before he started having real s*x.

In the middle of the night, he had received a phone call from one of his betas Ivan.
"There is trouble. You need to come see this."
Adriel knew that if Ivan said trouble had come then the situation was definitely serious.
Ivan was a fighter that would rather die than surrender. If he was calling, Adriel had to go.
Adriel looked at his little bride, buried his nose in her neck, kissed her forehead and left the bed.
He left her a note saying he was going away on urgent business.
"This had better be serious Ivan." Adriel barked with a scowl on his face.
He was not happy to be where he was.
"I told you to let him enjoy his wedding night. " David said
"Get to it." Adriel barked
Ivan dragged a body from the edge of the forest and dropped it before Adriel.
"The guards caught two people sneaking into the compound. They called me, we gave chase and trapped one." Ivan said.
"You say trapped, I see dead and I see only one."
"He committed suicide, shot himself in the head. " Ivan raised up his hands to declare his innocence.
"What worries me is what happened before he killed himself. " he continued.
" He had this weird partial shift, like part wolf part human. It smelled wrong. Like something rotten." Ivan wrinkled his nose.
"That's impossible." David said " Only an alpha can do a partial shift. This person smells human."
The rest of the group sniffed the air and others sniffed the body.
"it's definitely human. " Someone said
" Ivan is right about the smell. He smells wrong. Like he is rotting or dying inside. "
"Call more guards and increase the patrols." Adriel ordered.
"Shift into your wolves and start tracing where they came from." he continued
"David, take a group and start combing the edges of the woods. We need to find the one who escaped."
"Justin, load up the body. We should get Doctor Larry to examine it. We need more information. Call the skip tracer as well, we need to know the identity of the body."
Adriel barked out orders one after another.
"it's going to be a long night. " he said and sighed.
He shifted into a very big midnight black wolf and led the search team into the woods.
Adriel and his guards searched the entirety of the woods but failed to find the trespasser.
When the sun was coming out, the search was called off.
Adriel was frighteningly angry.
"Start door to door searches in the community. If anybody asks, tell them it's for security updates. "
"What do we tell the council members?" David asked.
"Not a word about this to anyone for now. This goes for all of you. " Adriel commanded.
"Yes Alpha. " the men responded as one.
At that moment, Adriel's phone rung, it was Justin. " You need to come to the hospital isolation wing. The doctor found something. You need to hear this personally."
Adriel and David drove straight to the hospital. Right from the first glance at the doctor Adriel could tell whatever he had to say was not good news.
"What's the word doc?" David asked.
The doctor pulled a cloth that was covering a dead body that had been sliced open.
"Take a look at his inner organs."
Everyone in the room looked down at what the doctor was showing them.
"I think I am gonna be sick." David said making a disgusted look on his face.
"He really is rotting on the inside. Half of the organs are dead." The doctor said
"How was he still able to move around. He should be dead." Adriel inquired.
"Someone has been injecting wolf and shifter bone marrow into his body." The doctor said.
"Whoever it is, they are carrying out some kind of experiment. Trying to turn normal humans into shifters. "
"That can't be right. It's wrong on so many levels." David was horrified.
"Seriously." Justin added "Shifters are born not created. This is going against nature."
"We need to find out who is doing this before the whole world finds out about us."
"I think we should worry more about where they are getting the shifter blood and marrow from." Adrien said worriedly.
"That's true," Ivan said. " They could be holding shifters prisoner to carry out their sick experiments."
"Too bad we couldn't find the other one. We would have some answers atleast. "
Adriel flexed his arms and clenched his fists.
"Change of plans Ivan. We need to start doing the rounds. Visit other packs around and warn them.
This doesn't affect only us. It's a threat to all shifters in the world."
"I will call and get the plane ready." Ivan answered and he walked out of the room.
"You should continue cutting doc. we need to find as much information from this body as we can." Adriel ordered
"I will do my best." the doctor said and he went back to work.
"What are you going to tell your new human bride?" David asked.
" Nothing right now. She doesn't know anything about shifters. I don't want to scare her off." Adriel run a hand through his hair as he said this.
"We should move, there is no time to waste." Adriel walked towards the door leaving the rest of the group to follow him.
Adriel started making phone calls to the other Alphas of nearby packs first. He suggested a meeting be held at a neutral location to discuss the newest looming threat over their lives.
Adriel was an alpha that commanded a lot of respect within the shifter society.
He was wealthy and physically strong, two qualities most desirable in any Alpha.
It also helped that his pack was one of the most thriving and largest packs around. When he called, no one rejected his invitation.
At a neutral location somewhere over fifty Alphas had gathered for a meeting called by Adriel Kang Alpha of Midrand.
Some were grumpy and not happy to be here. They would have preferred to have this meeting in their territories but Adriel turned them down.
They level of testosterone in the room was through the roof and occasionally you could here growls and furniture breaking.
Finally a voice from the crowd shouted in a deep bass "Why are we here Adriel?"
Adriel looked around, eyes cold and deadly he replied " I was waiting for you all to calm down before the meeting starts. "
The rest of the Alphas settled down.
"Distribute the pictures Ivan." Adriel ordered
After Ivan distributed all the pictures one of the Alphas asked " what the hell are we looking at Adriel?. "This looks like a dead body."
"Yes it is." Adriel paused and continued
"That body is the reason we are all here." he paused again.
"Explain the rest Ivan." he ordered.
After Ivan was finished explaining there was silence for a minute. The aplhas continued to look at the body in the pictures they had been handed.
"This sounds like bullshit." A red haired alpha who was one of the few grumbling right from the start of the meeting shouted.
"Is any of you buying this?" he asked.
"If any of you thinks I am lying, you can send your medical experts to our hospital. They can check the body and carry out their own experiments."
" My worry right now should be the same thing some of you have considered." he looked around the room.
" If somebody is conducting human and shifter experiments they must be getting shifters from somewhere. " Adriel continued.
"I think we should increase our vigilance, check and see if you have any missing shifters."
"If I am right gentlemen, somebody is hunting our kind and using us."
Adriel's words were met with grave silence.
