Jon remembered how it was sixty years ago, when he and Hakor were young men. The cycles of the seasons had piled up so quickly, so inexorably, and now Jon was left tending a weak old king who couldn"t remember his name, and whose heart was tissue paper. Jon remembered the good old King Malcoom, who ruled with Hakor briefly as co-husband of their old Queen, and who sired the difficult and dour Tevron, so different from his father, so like Hakor except in looks.
