Levi's POV.
The hospital smelled like antiseptic and it felt so quiet. I sat on the edge of the chair staring blankly at the door as I waited for doctor Jayden who was ten minutes late and it felt like I had been waiting for a lifetime.
My fingers were clenched into fists as I placed them on my thighs. My parents' voice couldn't stop replaying in my head and I was here in the hospital to finally get my unanswered questions. I wasn't really ready for bad news, at least not again and I wished that my parents were wrong.
