Isabella's POV. I didn't know what I expected when I asked Declan to pick me up. Maybe, I expected a moment of weakness but it didn't happen. But the moment I hung up the phone I couldn't stop pacing up and down. The hoodie I was dressed in suddenly felt too warm for me as it clung onto me as though it was my second skin. I removed the hoodie from my body and flung it onto the couch as I walked upstairs to my room to fetch my duffel bag. I decided I wasn't going to pack much. I was just going to pack up the necessary essential items I needed, which was some of my favourite clothes, my toothbrush, my charger, and one book I probably wouldn't read because I would end up staring at Declan instead. And it wasn't as though I would admit that to myself or anyone. God. What was I even doing?
