Mia's POV.
The click of my heels filled the four walls of my parent's house as I made my way towards the sitting room. My mum was seated at her usual spot towards the window with her favourite parsley tea in her hand as she slipped it slowly, scrolling through her phone then she glanced up at me.
“Mia you don't look like someone that just lost a baby” my mum said, dropping her cup down on the table.
“Maybe, it's because I'm not heartbroken about it” I replied, shrugging my shoulders at her as I sat on the couch beside her and I noticed the way her eyes looked at me with curiosity.
