I would always swear that I didn't mean to eavesdrop on anybody's conversation but everything was in my defense at that moment. The mention of my name filled my ears, followed by laughter spilling from another office as I leaned a little too close to the door frame.
The coffee I went to get was forgotten in my hand as my heart pounded in a fast rhythm.
