Luna Madison walked straight out of the hospital, and she stopped suddenly, the ache in her chest as she recalled the image of Sydnee. She closed her eyes and looked up. Fighting back the tears that threatened to fall.
She took a deep breath and looked around. She hurriedly walked back to the pack house and up the stairs towards Levi in their room. The pack house was silent apart from the noises from Clay’s room. She pushed the door open and walked inside, just as Levi walked out of the bathroom. She shut the door and leant against it, staring at Levi.
“Babe what’s wrong?”
Madison just stood there with her hand over her heart. Tears on the brim of falling and a lump in her throat threatening to come up in a loud sob. Levi walked towards her with his arms out,
“Babe, what is it?”
