“Hey where do you think you’re going?”
Sophie stopped where she stood and turned around, glaring at the man. She walked back.
He smirked and sat back against the chair.
“Payment first Sophie, you know how this works? “
“Fine.” She glared at him. “Where and when?”
“10 minutes my apartment, I will be waiting, and don’t think of pulling any shit.” He pushed his chair back and stood up. He strolled past her and left.
Sophie stood there until he was out of sight, then she got up and left, heading towards his apartment. Sophie turned the corner and looked before she came out of the alley. When she saw the coast was clear, she stepped out and started walking.
The guy lived in a run-down area where gangs and criminals hung out. But Sophie walked right through the area with no problems.
