Madison knew Sophie's plan all along. Since Clay and Sophie were young children she has stuck to her son like glue. She wouldn’t let Clay have any female friends. Sophie always chased them off or hurt them in some way. Of course, it was her plan all along. But then her mother was just the same. Making out she was my friend just to get close to my late husband, Alpha Dirk.
The difference is that my late husband didn’t and wouldn’t cheat on the mate bond. As soon as Sophie’s mother started her antics, he saw right through her.
