When our plane landed, my car was waiting. I led the kids off of the plane and headed to the car. Kieran put our luggage in the back and we headed home. The kids were excited to be back home, but Gemma kept asking about Sydnee. I ignored her and turned to talk to Kieran.
When we arrived back at the pack house, there was a crowd that had gathered. We got out and I helped the kids out.
Welcome home Alpha, it’s good to have you back. Oh, and look the children are back. A lot of people were standing there talking and wishing us well. I looked up and saw my mother. She was standing at the top of the steps. When she saw the kids, she rushed down and knelt in front of them and hugged them. She gave me a look of disapproval.
“Babe your back.” I looked up and saw Sophie coming down the steps.
