CHAPTER 13:The birth

Raides pov

I saw Britany walking toward me and my first thought was honest. “Bri, you look beautiful.”

She smiled a little. “Thanks, I just met Ann.”

“So?” I said, confused why that mattered.

“Are you guys having an issue?” she asked, eyes narrowing like she already knew the answer.

“No,” I said too fast. Britany dragged me away from where the others were gathered so they wouldn’t hear.

“liar” She said.

“I’m on a bet with Sebastian to see how long I can stay without her,” I admitted. The words tasted bitter even as I said them.

“Does she know it’s a bet?” Brittany asked.

“No,” I said.

“What if she’s hurt?” Britany pressed.

“I don’t think it would affect her that much,” I lied. I was trying to convince myself more than her.

“Raides, you’re playing with fire. Don’t say I didn’t warn you,” Britany said, then went back to the others.

Azriel asked, “What were you guys talking about?”

“Nothing important,” Britany said, but she glanced at me. Then she whispered, “Yujin, let’s go somewhere,” and they left.

That was my cue. I went to find Ann.

“Hey,” I said. She looked shocked to hear my voice after days of silence.

“Hey… I almost freaked out,” she said, voice tight.

“I’m sorry. I’ve been ignoring you,” I said. The guilt was eating me alive.

“Were you ignoring me? I don’t think so,” she said, pretending it was fine.

“Stop acting like it’s okay,” I said. She burst into tears. “I’m sorry, I would not have made that bet with Sebastian. It has been hell staying without you.”

“You really thought betting on me was a fun thing?” she asked, hurt.

“No, I’m sorry. I feel like a jerk right now,” I said. I felt like going on a rampage. The demon in me was already clawing for an outlet, for bloodlust.

“Calm down, it’s okay… at least you apologized,” she said softly.

“So, we’re cool?” I asked, desperate for her to say yes.

“Yes,” she whispered.

“Thank you so much… You don’t know how frustrating it has been not talking to you, staying so close to you and not touching you,” I said. Every second of that bet had been torture.

“You’re seriously thinking about that now?” she asked, reading me too well.

“Please let’s just change the subject, and don’t try tempting me further,” I said. My control was hanging by a thread.

“Why?” she asked, with that daring look she knew drove me insane.

“You do not know how much I crave you so much,” I admitted.

“How much?” she teased, pushing me.

“Ann… what the hell are you trying to do? I might lose you if I’m not in full control,” I said, voice low and warning.

“First of all, I’m not trying to do anything, I just asked a question. And secondly, you’ll never hurt me,” she said, sure of herself.

“You actually believe I would not hurt you, when I’m in a dangerous state?” I asked.

“Yeah, I trust you that much,” she said.

“Please don’t have 100% assurance. I don’t want it to seem like I made a promise and ended up hurting you,” I said. I was begging her without saying it.

“Don’t worry about my assurance. So tell me how much?” she pushed.

“Ann please I’m begging you, don’t make me lose control,” I said.

“Lose control, my demon prince,” she whispered. That was it. I lost total control, all my self-restraint gone.

“Ann, don’t be begging me later, ‘cause it’s too late now,” I said, and I kissed her. Then I took her to the bed.

I carried her to the bed and kissed her collarbone. I paused for a while, worshipping her body with my eyes. When she tried to cover herself, I held her hands.

“Don’t, you’re so hot and beautiful,” I said. I thrusted into her and we stayed like that for almost an hour. When she wanted to pick something, her lips grazed my private area. “Repeat it, with your tongue,” I told her.

“What?” she asked, dazed.

“What you did with your lips,” I said. Then she ran her tongue along from the base to the tip.

I came in her mouth after some time, and she swallowed. Then we rested.

“There’s something in my mouth,” she said.

I looked at her. “It’s bodily fluids,” I said, and licked her lip and the inside of her mouth.

“Was that not gross to you?” she asked.

“No,” I said.

“Why?” she asked.

“I’ve been in your mouth with more… and you know what else,” I said. She blushed.
