The climb to the cave wasn’t vertical but it was damn close. Someone, probably Adrien, had already hooked carabiners into the ice and we had a secure line holding us to the cliff side. I was thankful for it as I slipped a few times and the only thing that kept me from falling was that line.
Adrien stopped and turned to me, a finger to his mouth, indicating we were there and we needed to be absolutely silent. I turned and mimicked the gesture to Suvan and Remmy behind me. It was only the four of us now.
A few more feet up and Adrien disappeared over the top of a ledge. Then I felt myself being lifted up. My feet chipped into the cliff in an attempt to help, but I was pulled over the ledge before I could participate. I immediately turned and helped Adrien to pull Suvan and Remmy in. Th
