"Here we go again." Looking at an incredibly familiar scene, Aiden seemed to be unable to bear it "Ugh" let out a sigh.
Veronica narrowed her eyes and looked over there, vaguely recognising that the cell ...... facing Flanda seemed to be the one she had stayed in before.
Speaking of which, wasn't Prisoner 3307 ...... the same chimera that was in the same room as her at the time?
"Aigoo, supervisor, I'm really not feeling well today! Brain pain!"
As expected, the voice of her familiar "roommate" came from the room.
That bastard was still the same, when she lived with her she would seize any opportunity to mess around with the prison guards.
"You've lived with Faye for half a month, you've seen how to handle situations like this before, right?" Aiden gestured that way, "Here, kind of a little practice test, you get that guy out of there."
"Got it!" Veronica took the order without saying a word and walked over with her head held high.
At this moment, Flender was about to open her mouth to warn Faye when Veronica came to her side and whispered, "Supervisor, please let me do it."
Flender looked at her in surprise, and then locked eyes with Aiden who was not far away, immediately understood the situation and nodded her head, "Alright, you try."
Veronica finished and stood up in the cell doorway, by this time Faye was still curled up on the bed wrapped in her blankets and hadn't noticed her.
"Prisoner 3307, you said you weren't feeling well did you?" Veronica accosted Faye.
"Huh?" Faye heard a familiar voice and twisted her head to look over as she lay on the bed, "Why are you back again, old sis? Arrested for another offence?"
"Don't talk nonsense, open your doggy eyes and look clearly." Veronica said expressionlessly.
It was only then that Faye noticed the prison guard uniform Veronica was wearing.
"No way, you actually came to work here!?" She suddenly raised her eyebrows and smiled, "That's great! Then you have to remember our previous love and take care of me more."
"Cut the crap and get out of work for me." Veronica didn't give her a chance to get close.
Fei'er immediately splashed and rolled around, "Oops, I'm not feeling well! You just--"
"In that case, then fine, then you won't go out to work today." Veronica responded without waiting for her to finish, "I'll carry you to the doctor now. But first things first, if the doctor also says you're really sick, then we'll all be fine. But if the doctor says there's nothing wrong with you at all, I'll pull out your hair one by one on the spot."
"Ahahaha, sis you're joking ......," Faye laughed dryly.
"I'm not joking with you." Veronica grimaced and lifted one hand to press her knuckles, "Or will you believe me if I pluck you a few times first?"
"I suddenly feel better, better get to work!" Faye bounced off the bed with a flip, folding the covers at light speed and heading out of the cell to form a full line.
Veronica turned to see Flender nodding at her with an appreciative face, "You can do it newbie, promising future!"
Veronica also smiled along with her, during those days when she lived in the cell, she had sort of observed up close how the guards dealt with these stalking prisoners, and had more or less learnt a little bit of skill.
"Well done." Aiden also came over and complimented her, "In prison, there are many inmates who like to use such tactics as pretending to be sick, and even when dealing with recidivists who pretend to be sick, you have to hold a certain degree of caution - after all, just in case the inmates are really suffering from an acute illness someday, and if they can't be rescued enough, it will become a big problem. Of course, one must not be too lenient with the prisoner either, or the prisoner will get the better of him."
Veronica nodded and watched as Flanda directed the guards to send the prisoners to different work areas.
She scanned the surrounding cells again, and was surprised to find that there were still a smattering of prisoners staying in their cells, but the wardens were ignoring them.
"Sir, may I ask if all those staying in the cells are death row inmates?" She inquired to Aiden.
"No, death row inmates and the sick aren't the only ones who don't have to work. There are some prisoners who are incapable of working that don't have to work as well." Aiden explained to her, pointing to the distant cell number three, "For example, that one over there, the 'Crazy Helo' who is kept in a single cell in cell number three, she is mentally incapable of ordinary labour, and she is usually kept in her cell."
Veronica looked along and saw a cloaked woman standing in front of the cell door of room three, chanting something while repeatedly banging her head against the bars, the expression on her face changing, crying and laughing at times, it was horrifying to watch.
"That looks creepy ......" Veronica commented.
"Well, this madman is a priest of a cult, supposedly had a spiritual encounter with a god he believed in and lost his mind when he heard that god's voice." Aiden nodded with his hands behind his back, "It's a pain in the arse to take care of, even though you can't get out of work. But this one is actually quite useful. Any inmate who raises an eyebrow will basically be honest if you threaten to move her and Helo to the same room."
"Well, I've seen this one before." Veronica thought back to past scenes of Aiden threatening Catherine the Thief and Anna the Pirate.
"Other than that, you have to be careful, this one has the special ability to bounce back physical damage. If she makes a scene, don't apply violent suppression on her, just use restraints to keep her under control." Aiden added, "Basically all the prisoners in the core area are either skilled or have more bizarre traits, I'll make a list for you later."
"Oops, little sister, remember me?" At this time, the witch from room twelve across the street, Daley, also came to the door and greeted Veronica.
Veronica nodded her head a little confused, she had the impression that when she had gone crazy in her cell in the past, it was this witch who had subdued her with her spells.
"Prisoner 3110, Daley, is a witch who specialises in summoning demons, red alert level criminal, be more careful." Aiden introduced her.
"That's outrageous, making it sound like I'm some kind of dangerous demonic beast." Daley protested at Aiden.
"Doesn't she have to go to work too?" Veronica asked in a small voice.
"She's one of the model inmates I've specially selected to assist me in managing the other inmates in the Core, and I usually assign her other jobs." Aiden explained to her.
"Selected inmates to manage the inmates?" Veronica's eyes widened.
"Well, it's the most efficient way to do it." Aiden nodded.
"I'm the warden's loyal dog, oh." Daley laughed and waved her hand at Veronica with a look of unashamedness, "I had a good part to play in helping you flip the case for your little sister before, so thank me quickly."
"Don't put gold on your own face, if you have to say it, Evantha contributed more than you, right?" Aiden said and gestured towards room eleven with his thumb.
Veronica subconsciously followed the direction of Aiden's gesture towards room eleven and saw the young girl who was curled up on the edge of the bed with her legs wrapped around her, resting against the wall.
"A child that young is being held in prison too!?" Her eyes widened.
