Relief

Two days later. "Carmilla, come out!" In the Core, Veronica opened the door to her cell. "Huh?" Carmilla, who was still taking a nap, rolled over and yawned, "Oi oi, I've only come out of my confinement cell to have a meal, what do I need again?" "Come out when you're told to come out, what's all this nonsense? It's the warden's meeting, come on!" Veronica knocked on the door frame with her baton. "Oh?" Carmilla suddenly raised her interest, "That kid didn't really nail it, did he?" "Who's a little girl under twenty calling a kid? Come on out if you want to know what's going on, don't waste time." Veronica urged. "Okay, okay, okay, I'm coming." Carmilla lazily got down from the bed, feeling her body much duller and heavier than usual, "Ugh, I can't lift my energy after eating today ......" Just as she stepped outside she stopped dead in her tracks and jerked her head around to look deeper into the corridor, as if she were an alert wild animal. "What's wrong?" Veronica asked her. "Hmph, that zombie is staring this way." Carmilla sneered. Veronica also turned her head and saw Silk Rhine, who had come up to the doorway of room nineteen, her eyes glowing with a ghostly light staring this way. "You don't want to initiate her, the warden is already on your case." Veronica warned, "Let's go." Carmilla wiped her face so that she could clear her newly groggy head. But she had only just taken one step when she suddenly felt a sudden spin up. Veronica, who was standing by waiting for her to step forward, immediately noticed her pause and prodded, "What's wrong with you again?" But this time Carmilla didn't answer, she felt the vision in front of her suddenly darken, and soon she couldn't feel what was going on. A sharp wave of vertigo hit her and she swayed, failing to stay on her feet and slamming down. "What are you doing?" Veronica hurriedly reached for her collar, and then noticed her face, which was rapidly losing its blood colour, and her breathing, which was becoming rapid. Carmilla's body quickly went limp, and it was all Veronica could do to try and keep her flat on her back before instantly blowing the alarm whistle and summoning the warder on watch duty, "The prisoner is in a physical condition! I'll watch here, you go inform the prison doctor to come over ...... and the warden! Go!!!" The warder on duty rushed out with a roar, and Veronica once again crouched down to check on Carmilla's condition. Carmilla apparently could no longer see anything, just breathing with her mouth open like a fish thrown onto the shore. Silhouette, who had been lying on the fence staring dead on, widened her eyes, and then a twisted smile screwed up her face. At the same time, Meru Kino, who was sitting in his cell, also heard the whistle and slowly raised the corners of his mouth. Two nights ago, in the corner of the reading room. "With Carmilla's physical condition, you don't have any chance of winning even with a sneak attack. Only poisoning is the most likely means of success." Pretending to stand side by side in front of the bookshelf to pick out a book, Merukino whispered to Silk Rhine. "But where would one get poison from a place like ......?" Silk Rhine asked in a low voice. "Right here." Merukino was prepared and handed her the book in her hand, "It's a good book, I recommend you read it." Silhouette immediately noticed an unnatural gap in the middle of the closed book, obviously sandwiching something. She quietly opened the page to see a pill the size of a soybean between the pages. "Be careful, oh, that's a highly toxic medicine that can poison even large magical beasts." Mei Liuji Nu reminded in a small voice, "Even a dragon descendant who is resistant to poison will die for sure if he eats it, and there is no medicine to cure it." The ghostly fire ghostly light in Silk Rhine's eyes suddenly became obvious, the means to practically kill her enemy was close at hand. But in a flash, she realised the problem: "But I don't have the chance to poison, the prison will deliberately separate us, whether it's work or other time periods ......" "Do you know where the work area is where that guy is out of work?" Merukino asked. "It's the greenhouse side." "Over there I know an inmate who wants money for her life, and as long as she's paid enough money, she'll more than likely have the guts to poison you. The garden area isn't supervised by production line, it's relatively lax. Drinking water or dinner, she should be able to find an opportunity." "How much would it cost? I can transfer all my remaining control money to you!!!" Silhouette almost pulled up her voice. Killing Carmilla was the only meaning she had left in the world right now, and extraneous things like money were of almost no use to her when her days were numbered. "Don't worry, I'll try to help you around." Merukino said as she took the book back from Silain's hand, "Then you transfer the money and leave the matter to me. In two days, we'll find a way to do it when Carmilla comes out of the confinement room." ...... "No, not at all, still no heartbeat!!!" Veronica shouted at the prison doctor who was crouching aside with her taking first aid measures on Carmilla. "It's too late ...... There are no vital signs at all." The prison doctor wiped the sweat from his forehead and shook his head as if he were dead. "What's going on?" Aiden finally arrived on the scene, striding over to ask questions. The prison doctor looked over at him with a tired face, "It looks like a reaction to poisoning, it's ......" "It's hopeless?" Aiden's eyes widened, "It's only been a few minutes that have passed?" "The toxicity is fierce, this is definitely not an ordinary poison." The prison doctor's face was grave. At this moment, a wild laughter suddenly rang out in the depths of the corridor, startling them - Silk Rein grabbed the railing and laughed like a madman, and also slammed her head against the railing, "Dead, finally dead!!!" The returning corpse could sense where her enemy's soul was, and she could now clearly feel Carmilla's life draining away, her heartbeat having stopped a long time ago, and the aura of death gradually permeating around her body. Aiden immediately strides up to the door of room nineteen and sternly questions Silk Rhine, "Prisoner 3271, what the hell have you done!?" But Silk Rhine was oblivious to him, still laughing wildly to herself, and as she laughed, she suddenly burst into tears. "Bailey, my child, mum finally ...... finally avenged you ah ah ah ah!!!" She covered her face and whimpered. Then, ghostly blue flames emerged from her eyes, and grey misty spirits quickly overflowed from her eyes and mouth and nose. Her body began to fall apart, rapidly collapsing like a sandcastle destroyed by waves, and in a flash it turned into a pile of dust on the ground, with her prison uniform and shackles buried in the middle of the dust. The escaped spirits quickly drifted away and disappeared without a trace, and vaguely, Aiden heard a long sigh of contrition. In the moment of vengeance, Silhouette's soul was finally relieved. Aiden stared at the remains left behind by Silk Rhine in silence for a while, and immediately took a large step to the other cell. "Oops, something wrong, Warden?" Sitting in her cell, Merukino stood in front of the door and smiled subduedly, "You don't suppose you're suspecting that this has something to do with me, do you?" Aiden gave her a blank look before taking out his key and opening the cell, gesturing with his thumb in the direction of Carmilla's fallen form, "The play's already broken up what's the point of acting? Just hurry up and get the man out of there."
