"Do not let her enter our world too much. It's good that you are not completely shutting her out, but you know how our world works, son. She will be in danger the more she knows. Especially if you are not planning to have her by your side for long." Dad warned me as we shared a smoke together outside, fully aware of my plans with her.
"You know, Dad, I thought she's nothing but a materialistic wife. She's nothing like mom who fought by your side. I only want to honor what mom wants, and I plan to divorce her one day, but I think I am starting to find her... interesting."
