Katerina's POV
"We'll leave later, do you want to go somewhere? I'd be pretty busy the following days so we might not be able to see each other much." Alejandro asked me while we were having breakfast the next morning.
I was quiet the whole morning and I wasn't able to sleep much. I kept replaying Otis's words in my head. I am already aware of his warning, and I am not entirely sure why I was overthinking about it either.
Was it because somehow... I was hoping he'd spared me even if he learns about the truth? Because a part of me is confident that Alejandro is starting to catch feelings.
"There is a beautiful fall near here. I could take you there before we go back." Alejandro added when I didn't respond right away.
"That would be lovely." I finally answered, trying to sound excited.
