LUCA'S POV

I don't know what I felt when someone mind linked me that Novalie was roaming the castle alone . I felt rage built up because I knew she was trying to get out .
Luckily after my meeting , I went outside for some fresh air and when I got the message , I immediately started to run back to the castle , just in time to find her opening the door .
I felt betrayed , even if I knew she would run , I didn't think I would catch her in the act .
" Just put me down !" she slams my lower back , begging me to release her onto her feet .
" I will put you down when I want to ." I snap at her and she growls at me .
It's kind of cute .
I arrive at my room , kicking the door shut behind me before I bend forward and drop her to her feet .
