AURORA’S POV:
“You can’t be like this all day.”
Kasper’s voice came from across the room, gentle and cautious but firm. He kept moving closer to me, his steps deliberate, as if any sudden movement might crush me.
“I’m not trying to push you,” he went on, “but if you want to talk, remember that I'm always here.”
There was gentleness in his voice but it was mixed with something else. He was hurting, I could also see it in his eyes which were betraying him. He had been strong for me all the time and especially the past few weeks.
