“Adrian.” Elleri’s voice was quiet, barely more than a murmur as she approached, carrying a pillow and blanket. Her grandmother had insisted on staying in her room tonight, and since saying no wasn’t an option, Elleri had agreed. That left Adrian with nowhere else to sleep but the living room.
