Chapter 2

Neeli was lying on her stomach on her queen-sized bed in angry mood and reading story on online app, she heard a voice "Darling Neeli" Just then her darling babe entered in her room by calling her name. Neeli saw her coming inside she got up and sat on bed with crossing legs and angry pout keeping her chin in hand cup.

“Neeli, why this much anger baby?" Grand ma asked casually.

"Babe, what they all want from me now? Why they called me back forcefully?" Neeli asked with huff mood, her beautiful face reflecting her sulky mood but softened only for her grandmother.

Grand ma sat beside her and took mobile from her hand "Who?"

"That old man and mother India" Neeli was holding anger for her parents.

Grand ma kept her phone on the side table and placed Neeli's head on her lap "That I don't know, but why are you so upset?" Grand ma said lovingly.

Neeli pouted cutely and took her hand between both her palms lovingly "Babe you know very well I hate to live in this city, and I never wanted to come back".

Grand ma started caressing her hair "Neeli I know everything and I can understand your pain also, but they don't know and you too don't want them to come to know about this - right? then you at least try to understand the situation, this is your birth place, your full family and everything is here till when you will stay far away from here just because of others and above all who will make your parents understand all this?, they were trying to bring you back since long and more over now I also can't live without my Neeli any more" grand ma made herself clear politely while caressing her lovingly.

“Me too can't live without my babe" Neeli hugged her from waist emotionally and said childishly.

Grand ma made her sit "That's why I am saying don't go living your babe alone anymore and be brave you have to face your fear now and promise me that you will be very strong?" Grand ma spread her palm in front of her Neeli nod and hold grandmother’s palm with her soft delicate hand.

"I promise babe" She said.

Just then Riya knocked the door and entered in her room with breakfast tray.

“Hey Riyu come and why did you bring breakfast here? I was coming down" Neeli seeing her loving sister coming said excitedly.

“Ma and papa asked me to give it to you in your room, they said you must be tired that's why I brought it here" Riya replied calmly.

“See babe I told you, right. Now they are trying to overly butter up, something is cooking in mother India and the old man's brain" Neeli’s smart brain is finding everything suspicious around her”.

"It's nothing like that Neeli, you just relax" Grand ma tried to comfort her.

“How to relax babe, I just want to go back today itself, I will book my tickets as fast as possible" she said impatiently and took her phone from side table.

"Oh, ho what happened to my super cool Neeli? where is she? who is this girl in front of us" Grand ma again took her phone from her hand and kept on table and said like motivating her, Riya giggled listening to them.

“Babe, don't tease me ok" Neeli glare Riya who was giggling and shows her petite index finger to Grand ma like warning.

"Do one thing, you and Riyu go for shopping and have some fun and yes take Sheetal also along with you, you haven't spent time with her till now, you will feel better" Grand ma said calmly and it made Neeli happy and excited.

Neeli jumped right where she was in excitement -"OMG shopping what an idea babe” She kissed her Grand ma's cheek and jumped off the bed “Riyu I am going to get ready and ask bhab to get ready fast” Neeli said in excitement walking towards the changing room but turned back.

“Aur haan isi baat pe ek sher arz hai 'kutta karta bhau bhau phone karta tring tring (2), bhab Riyu and Neeli karne jaa rahe hai shopping" (well a poetry on this - 'dog barks bhau, phone rings tring, (2) Bhabhi, Riyu and Neeli are going for shopping').

Grand ma and Riya said together "Wah-wah, wah-wah" (praising words)

Neeli went to change by replying "Thank you, thank you”.

"Grand ma it's only you who can handle her with such ease" Riya adores Grand ma and her sister’s bonding.

"Hmmm but in one matter not even I can do anything” Grand ma nods her head and said in deep agony tone.

Riya sensing her mood put hand on her shoulder, Grand ma put hand on her hand “Go beta get ready for shopping, otherwise she will take whole mansion on her head" Grand ma change the topic calmly and Riya leaves from there.

After some time Meera came down being ready for shopping and started shouting for Riya "Riyu Riyu, where are you? Come fast come fast I am giving you count of 10.... 1...2...3...4...5...6".

"Hold on hold on hold on Neeli I am here" Riya shouts while coming down from stairs like running in marathon".

But because of Meera's shout whole family members gathered in hall.

"Neeli why are you shouting this much? and what is all this? why are you all ready?  Are you going somewhere?" Mohini asked in stern tone seeing her fully ready to go out.

"OMG mother India and her questions" Neeli mumbles.

"Ma I am going for shopping with Riyu and bhab" She replied.

"Neeli dear just few hours before you came back home after such long journey, now going for shopping? and you two didn't said anything to me" Mohini asked from Neeli in polite way but then looked towards Riya and Sheetal angrily.

"Oh, ho Mohini take a chill pill, I only permitted them and now let them go and enjoy for some time" Grand ma interrupted her questioning and supports her granddaughters.

"But ma we want to talk to Neeli" Shakti interrupt his mother.

Neeli’s smart brain got alert after listening to this, she got that a danger siren is around.

"Shakti let them go now, talk to her later, Neeli you all go dears, Rohit asked driver to be with them" Grand pa interrupt Shakti and asked then to go.

“Mummy ji?” Sheetal asked from Mohini through eyes.

"Sheetal your grand pa is saying to go, that means go dear no problem" Grand ma said very politely, Sheetal nod and trio left for shopping.

In car

Meera was sitting on passenger seat engrossed in some deep thinking about her parents and the signal they were giving about talk, talk.... and Riya and Sheetal were sitting on back seat.

“Riyu what was all that? Why mummy ji become so much angry?" Sheetal asked from Riya in baritone -"

"Bhabhi it's nothing big, just routine problem it happens often whenever ma and Neeli comes face to face, you too will become habitual soon" Riya chuckled and replied in assured tone.

At Sahay Mansion

"Shakti, papa ji why are you all delaying the matter, please talk to her" Mohini said being irritate couldn’t able to success in what she wants to do.

"Mohini, don't you know her reply on this matter? Perhaps you can imagine her reaction too" Grand pa said with all his experience.

"So what papa, we have to do it, either today or tomorrow its better we do it as soon as possible" Shakti replied being impatience.

"Dad give her some time, just today she came back that too without her will and we all know about her reaction after bringing her back forcefully" Rohit interrupted and said calmly.

"So, what should we do?" Mohini become impatience.

"Give her some time, don't be after her for same matter with your full force" Grand ma said little sternly because of her son and daughter in law’s impatience behavior.

"Ma please, this time listen to me if you will try...." Mohini wants to say something but Grand ma interrupt her.

"Mohini please don't keep hope from me, I already told you I can't help you in regarding this matter" Her mother in law’s words are so clear that she doesn’t want to help them anywhere against her granddaughter

"But ma she will only listen to you" Shakti tried to convince his mother.

"That's why I am denying, I don't want her to take this decision in any kind of pressure and this is the matter of her whole life, I can't take advantage of her if she listens my every words" His mother in no mood to listen to anybody neither her son nor her daughter in law.

"Shakti, your mother is absolutely correct, let Neeli take her decision" Grand pa supported his wife.

"Yes ma, papa we all know about her she is not like Riya who will accept all your decisions silently" Rohit was also supporting his sister.

"She will only take the decision and we will only come to know about her decision when we will talk to her and if no one from you all are agree then I will talk to her and that too today itself" Mohini said stubbornly.

All were shocked seeing Mohini's determined face and Grand ma thought about her daughter in law's stubbornness which may bring a big storm in this house. All shook their head in helplessness and went back to their respective works.

Men of the house moved for office, Mohini to look after house chores and Grand ma went towards her room while praying for her loving granddaughter’s happiness.

Another side

Meera, Riya and Sheetal reached shopping mall got down from car and went inside the mall.

Riya and Sheetal started discussing from where they will buy their dresses and they are discussing about ethnic and Indian wear shops.

Meera -" OMG Riyu and bhab you both are so boring just like coming from seventies, you both carry on your sarees and Anarkali I am going to shop my own well bhab isi baat pe er sher arz hai 'jab hum nikle shopping ko mother India chaba rahi thi chilly (2), chae jo ho jae sirf westen hi kharidegi Neeli' (well a poetry on this - 'when we left for shopping mother India were chewing chilly,(2) whatever it is only western dress will buy this Neeli')" She twitched her small straight nose with attitude and went from there.

"Riya what was that?" Sheetal become very shocked from Neeli’s attitude.

"Bhabhi she is like that only, leave her you come with me" Riya said very casually hold Sheetal’s hand and dragged her towards a shop.

After some times.

Meera completed shopping clothes and now she is thinking to buy accessories and for that she started searching for Riya and Sheetal, she was walking in corridor with shopping bag in her hand looking here and there searching for Riya and Sheetal suddenly collide with a smart and dashing man who was looking like some business man in his tuxedo and was coming from opposite direction while talking on phone with some files in hand.

Both fell down and their stuff scatters.

Meera started to pick her bags silently but man shouts angrily -"Hey can't you see and walk".

“That I can say the same to you too, can't you see and walk" Neeli’s witty brain worked fast but she replied calmly.

"Wow what an attitude, first you make a mistake and now instead of saying sorry you are showing attitude" Handsome man’s face turn red in anger by her attitude.

"Why will I say sorry, it’s your mistake too, you too can say sorry" She stood straight after picking her bags, proudly raised her chin and as calm and lunatic her features were her reply was even calmer.

He looks towards the beautiful girl Infront of him but disliking her appearance, she was wearing western clothes which he hates and till now nobody spoke to him like this which makes him angry -"Girl like you, who wears disgusting clothes (pointed towards her clothing) what can one expect from them".

She felt bad by his harsh words and comments, the smart good looking man but too cavalier and rude, still rather than picking a fight she choose to reply properly “What about you Mr. Fastidious? wearing outfit like a gentle man” She point towards his suited clothing “But behavior is totally opposite harsh, rude, arrogant, ill-mannered who don't know how to talk to girls, just wearing suit doesn't make you a gentle man got it and..."

She wants to continue but before the handsome man’s deep attractive brown eyes, reddened in anger by her bold attitude and outrageous reply, he angrily held her wrist and pinned her to the wall and once again all her shopping bags fell from her hand and scattered on the floor "Who do you think you are?" He said angrily in a low pitch but stern voice.

“A well-behaved good girl, who knows how to talk with someone, unlike others" She made him angrier by her taunt.

Handsome and dashing in looks but behaving like a rouge with Neeli, man tightened his grip in extreme anger on a little fragile girl who was taunting him fearlessly.

"Neeli?", before he can reply anything or she can say further they both heard shocked sound of a girl, dashing man left her hand instantly seeing Riya and Sheetal in front of him.

Riya and Sheetal together "Sameer/ Bhai?", Meera gets shocked listening this name 'Sameer' thought in mind "This Fastidious i***t, the smart and handsome man by face but rogue by behavior is Sameer Bajaj the famous business tycoon, bhab's brother and Riyu's fiancé?"

Riya walks towards Neeli "Neeli what happened?" Now Sameer was shocked listening 'Neeli' and thought in mind "This modern short dress girl is Neeli, Riya's sister and Sheetal's sister in law who was in London, she is looking beautiful and cute but her appearance is disgusting, but the most wondering thing how is this modern type short dress girl can be family member of Sahay family?" He mumbles to himself in confusion.
