Backstory: She lives, born and raised by her grandmother. Her grandmother is a sweet person and very open about anything to Athena. She’s always willing to teach Athena anything she wants to know except for her mother. All Athena knew as she was growing up was her mother had to leave her. Her grandmother told her that if ever she encounters her mom in Paraiso, Athena should forgive her for being absent in her life. Athena pretended and tried to convince herself that her mother had a valid reason but at the same time she was angry for being abandoned. Her grandmother fell ill while she was staying at The Academy, and she couldn’t really visit home that much.
