Chapter 6Andrea hurried along behind the line of trainees on the way to the great hall. Meal time was never one of her favorite group activities. Normally, she would have found work to do with the old hag, but she needed to find out what Regina was waiting for. Silverbane was buried, the wolf pack was still leaderless, and yet there was no call for an attack. There wasn’t even a move to ready weapons or boost training. Instead of taking a seat at the far end of the table, Andrea squeezed past a couple of tween trainees gossiping about the next round of trials. “Excuse me,” she said in response to their glares. “Where do you think you are going?” one of them shouted, but Andrea didn’t have time to pick a fight.
