Chapter 14Andrea wasn’t sure what bug had crawled up Josh’s butt after the rescue, but it stayed firmly implanted all weekend. The only time she saw him was in passing at her apartment. Even then, he didn’t have more than two words for her.
All she had tried to do was to nudge him and Gavin a little closer. He should be grateful really. The ranger was a catch and a half. If Andrea was into that kind of thing, she’d definitely consider Gavin a prime candidate for the settling down type of life. The only sss she had ever heard of falling in love and settling down with a guy was her own mother, and look how that had turned out.
Halfway back to her apartment, her cell phone rang. She glanced at it to see if Josh was calling. When she saw it wasn’t, she let it go to voicemail. Thank the Shade
