I brought the vehicle to a stop inside the garage of a boutique before I finally looked at Zara.
She took in the surroundings, eyebrows furrowed, cheeks still pink from earlier and her lips in a pout.
Strands of hair floated around her face. I curled my palms into fist to keep from tucking them behind her ears and took the key off the ignition.
“This is where you brought us to?” She shrieked, her eyes wide and raging.
“Get out of the car, Zara. I can still make good on my promise now.” I answered, a dangerous edge in my voice.
She narrowed her eyes before kicking the door open and stepping out.
I almost felt bad for my vehicle.
After she slammed the door, I remained in the car for a moment, my thoughts raging as a shaky breath escaped my lungs.
I couldn't keep staying
